This is one of my favorites, Shell. I often learn the meanings of things that happen in my life when I feel called to write it all through ... that's what happened with this piece.

Such a beautiful story and message! "It didn’t have to be a perfect fit. It was her story, and she would let the ashes do their job. She would let them be fertile ground for something else to grow." Love, love, love it! I also like it being the beginning instead of the end.

There's so much we learn when we write, right? Therapy happens when my hands are on the keyboard, and I honestly don't know how I would have survived the last 4.5 years without this outpouring. THANK YOU for taking the time to come into my story, friend.
